  • 700n dfc main shaft

    Good afternoon all,

After what appears to be a slight bend on a main shaft I have replaced it, however there are 2 alan bolt that screwed in to the (old) shaft from either side just below rotor grips, below those 2 bolts there is one that goes straight through with a nut on the end "jesus bolt" (technical term). The new shafts no longer have screw threads for the 2 alan bolts.. Does the shaft now take 2 "jesus bolts" with nuts on the end?

    thanks

Yes that's perfectly normal just use the jesus bolts instead of the screw bolts. I had same issue on my trex 700l and thought this cannot be right lol but it is. The main shafts now are designed to be used on the 700x. Hope this helps

So long as it's nipped up nice & tight should be good to go just check it's still tight from time to time though.

        Cheers
