So it's approx one year of flying my DFC head. When I first saw the head and read the reviews I must say I was a bit worried, boom strikes, pitch links poping in flight, pom dampers wearing out, servo under extreme stress, the list of negatives went on.
Well I have to say on my Nitro 600DFC one year and approx 200-300 flights and none of the above apply.
I think the heli looks good with the short head, I've just finished building a 700n with the old FBL HEAD from the V2 700e and the head looks like a tall ship mast in comparison. I also really like the feel of the head in flight, very crisp and the heli feels very fast as well. The only down side I've seen is that most crashes result in 2-3 servos being stripped something with the old FB head you would normally only lose 1.
So all in all I am a fan. I am looking forward to doing back to back flights to compare the old FBL head with the new DFC.
