There's always this week. Never really considered the TSA forgot about them in all honesty.

Mostly positive on the Align then so that's promising. They def seem to have improved over the years the latest 700EDFC looks a great kit out the box as well. Hopefully will be at my local shop for collection tomorrow :-)

I really like my 700n dfc and to be honest if I could choose any 700 heli the align would probably be my choice especially if taking crash costs into account...

Only bad things Ive found are the clutch bell takes an absolute age to replace (so dont hot start it ) and the frame screws are really soft.

Ten minutes to get apart, 20mins including setting of the epoxy and another ten to put it back together. No engine removal required. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

I can knock a 700DFC around knowing spares are available when the inevitable happens.
Thats exactly why I have one Tim, swapped the DFC head out ages ago for the KDE SXT and is now as good as anything else and flys straight as an arrow.
Mj had a Rave & YS120 a while back which he flew better than anything else and that got sold, big mistake, I've been on at him ever since to either buy another Rave or a 700.
You really need an everyday heli that you're not so concerned about, it makes you fly better....fact. That's why I have 2 Raves and a 700 DFC as I'm not bothered about any of them. No one wants the inevitable to happen obviously but when it does happen the last thing you want is not being able to get a part.

Good decision Michael, you'll like it and will probably bring back the proper enthusiasm as before. Just a bloody pity I'm away again for another month!!

700E DFC is a great heli. Nitro version is just as good. You can't beat the kit combo's for value nor performance.

The more I fly my 700E, the more I like it.

Align really do have the mass market cornered.

I thought Ross removed himself from the forum a few weeks ago, can't find his account so i assume he's cancelled it.

I have zero concerns about flying any Heli I've owned or currently own however when it can take 3 weeks to get a part I do get frustrated. I've had machines (Avant) take even longer usually end up buying a spare kit or two to get around it. Having said that if you know that's the case then go with it. That part may be due to an incident or general maintenance. I noticed the latest Nitro and E 700 look decent Helis and parts next day is a massive plus as stuff does fail and I won't need to buy 2-3 of them. Picking up this afternoon :-)

Jonesheli enthusiasm was boiling over yesterday had a sensational session on my Faifa last night, perfect weather, sun behind, slack wind, Kosmik pumping out 8v BEC and the machine was Stella. Shame you couldn't make it.

Stunning, off topic but are you using the capacity limit? I cant fly without it.

I couldn't find it in the progdisc at first but thanks to one of your posts found it under rpm control so thanks for that. That has to be the most sensible feature to come out for elec in ages, you can mix flight styles, rpm in 1 flight and know when to land. At least with nitro you can see the fuel tank (In most cases ;-) It worked on the Faifa great yesterday evening.

Lets see how long you can cope with skimmed milk after drinking Jersey for so long I think you'll appreciate your Kasama machines even more. I tried a Trex 600E but didn't like it, I use a couple of raptor E550 for my beaters.
Just a trusty rusty Raptor E550 these days
