How many times is the word "Align" written on that thing?

If I somehow received one, the first thing I'd do is throw the skids in the bin and get some normal ones, as they're just ridiculous.

New 800 does look rather nice. It seems they're are primarily aiming this one at 3D

Well, the video didn't knock me on the floor or anything. Yes, it's impressive, but it's Jamie Robertson flying a big heli with an OTT head speed, so it ought to be impressive.

As for the heli, I think it's good that Align have kept things moving and not stopped developing their line-up. I just wish they'd stop dropping the tail gear ratio on their helis meaning you have to run unnecessary head speeds and suffer short flight times. This one doesn't seem to have that, so thumbs up there.

But I still can't get my head around what they are thinking with those skids.

I think the skids look cool. looks like they are a spin off from the goblins carbon side to me but with a name on the side.

Im gonna sit on the fence, yes it was a lively flight for a big bird, but it didnt get me aroused. Yes I like the new tail design, but JR have had that for aeons albeit in plastic.

The spec of the componentry as stock is also very good with HV brushless servos in there. And the 850 motor we already know is brutal.

But its yet another Align, released a few months after the last version. So now the badge snobs have to sell their old one and buy the new one as usual. And as Alex says the original trekker was dfc so what apart from equipment spec a new tail gearbox and gash skids is different??

Does it look nice = Yes
Will it sell = Yes
Will it be capable in the hands of morons = Yes
Will I sell one of my helis to buy it = No cos as good as it is it just doesnt get me going
