I have to disagree with that one....my talon cut the power on virtualy every fligh despite trying everthing possible to stop it doing it. Its now back on the std 70a align and it works fine, oh, and the wires dont just fall of the esc in flight for no reason at all with the align esc.

I'm going based on my experience. I noticed a difference when i changed mine, the more powerful BEC is noticeable as with the heli being more punchy. Don't get me wrong the 70A was good, i put 110 flights on it before i sold it, but it is limited.

Well perhaps I don't have the very latest. It is only a few months old and it has the Align ESC... sorry to mislead

I have done some more reading and it seems that many people have had tail issues with the builtin govenor. Perhaps I do as suggested and just use the power curve.

More tomorrow when I'll try a lower power.

EDIT: I must be going senile... it isn't DFC!!!!!!!!!

Well, I flew 6 packs today at various power curves. at a flat 75% the ESC got way too hot for my liking but at 80% it seemed much better so I am sticking to 80% and seeing how I go.

Doing steady circuits and some hovering (no 3D) I am getting about 7 mins so I can't really complain!

          Thanks for all your help
