thanks for support martin. what you have found kind of backs up what everyone of us is going on about.yes there are options to revos but the revos work. it is a pity you feel your 70 quid down the drain however. i would, with that said give your tornados about 10 cycles before commenting on them fully as they will bed in. however there won't be a huge difference in HS from now i would think but worth waiting on.

    cheers

I put my packs straight on charge after flying I always have done that way I cant forget to not charge them & risk damage.
The Tornados are new & some of that 4 mins 30 was me setting trims etc I will keep you posted if it gets any better.
I dont feel Im £70 out of pocket far from it as I have the use of them in the 450 also. I was merely giving a back to back comparison of a new set of Tornado 2200's & a new set of revo 2100's.

This isn't a good idea I'm afraid - the cells heat up in use and need to cool before being recharged. You will cause damage to them otherwise - reducing lifetime.

Glad it went OK Martin,as mentioned already, give the Tornados a few cycles to wake up then you will get a better comparison,i did find that my 2 Electrolite 3s 2200`s didnt have the same oomph as a Revo 2100 paired with a Maxpoly 2100

They were compared like for like Chris so the comparison is a fair one.
A pair of new revos & a pair of new Tornados.
I will continue to see just how each new pack fairs with equal treatment.
