not actually seen a hawk 50 but i assume its just the normal hawk with a long boom, different gear ratio and engine mount.

in which case all my normal hawk gripes still apply.

So is seems the general consensus is the Raptor is the way to go. Raptor V1 is a no-no. V2 is OK.
            Size was, 50 or 60?
And then, of the Raptor V2, are there editions? SE, for example?

Go for the Raptor 50 Titan with an OS 50. That will keep you happy for a while.

                        OK lets start at the beginning, Raptor 30 & 50 V1, Raptor 30 & 50 V2, Raptor 50 V2 SE, Raptor Titan
The Raptor SE (Superior or Special Edition), it has a few hopped up parts as standard. The Titan is the latest version but it not an SE (Superior or Special Edition).

The Raptor 30 and 50 share a lot of the same parts as do the Raptor 60 and 90. I would stay with the 50 as these are more common.
