I don't see why it should - but perform a good range check before flying to be sure.
It might be an idea to also, during the range check, have someone stood at the heli and rotate it on the spot to check that - from a distance - you have good reception.

    Nice governor
    Cheers,

The cynic in me says that the aerials will not be a problem.
It`s the system reseting it self to zero as well as everyone elses that will cause them problem

If you haven't seen the threads or information from Ripmax/BMFA/Futaba regarding this - basically, there can be a problem with the transmitters GUID (Globally Unique IDentifier) resetting itself to zero - when this happens, the transmitter is no longer bound to only your receiver - it is able to interfere with other FASST receivers in the vicinity.

You can take your Tx to your local model shop who will hopefully have a testing receiver available to check your Tx.

Apparently, switching the Tx on, and then off again fairly quickly stands a good chance of resetting the GUID. 5 seconds has been mooted as the safe timeframe to switch off after switching on for this to not happen.

            Cheers,
            Rob

I route my two Futaba 2.4GHz RX antennae at 90 degrees to each other through fuel tubing for grip at the front like this:
