    Ross has got it right Rich... check my post #11.. it has a link that shows how it needs to be done.. red to both (pos) reds and black to both (neg) blacks.. this gives parallel.. the other way is in series and as rightly mentioned, it doubles the cell count/V instead and you dont want series!

        you doit on half a tank so it doesnt go too nose heavy when empty (instead it goes 50/50 each way from full to empty tank and why not try doeble the align bateries up and swap battery when 1 gets low on juice

          Done just that. 2 batts up front and balances spot on with half tank. Extra battery took the place of all the stuff I took out and replaced with 3gx and new reg.
          Just got to get round to making the parallel lead to run both batts together.
          Just to add the 600 is flying awesome with the v2 3gx software. I'm no stick banger but the heli just feel awesome to fly. Loving it
