Trex 600 nitro FBL tail heavy

Hi,
Just noticed whilst having a look over my 600 nitro FBL that it is well tail heavy. I dug some fishing lead out of the shed, and to make it balance correct I need to add 6oz of lead Holding blades like a clock face with the added weight the nose goes to 3 o clock.
I'm running a 3gx and a elyq reg. also running the 1900 align flight packs. I have battery up front in the tray and the reg up front. Nothing else to move up front.
I have 5 align batteries so don't really want to be buying bigger batteries at the moment. Having said that adding a bigger battery is no different than adding the extra weight in the first place.
What are my options? Don't like adding weight but seems I have no choice here. Thanks for any help.

Oh by the way. Done this test with a full fuel tank. Also running a header tank. Align manuals say to do c of g with a full tank.

Just use a larger capacity flight pack. I found 2x 1900mAh 2S ideal, or a single 5000mAh NRG pack.

You should do this with half a tank mate but im with Harry.. use a single bigger pack or you can run the existing one is series

I always thought you had to do this with a half tank of fuel.

Yeah, I'd read somewhere before it was with half tank. But the align manual says full. But it doesn't take into account a header either. I'll go try it now with half tank.

What's the score with running 2 of my align packs in series? Is it just a case of buying a Y lead or something, or is there more to it than that?

Sorry Rich.. I meant the other way.. parallel Yes, its just a lead to join the packs up to double your mah instead of buying new bigger packs and save you some pennies to get the extra nose weight

5000 outrage pack and a ali boom works just right, and do away with the fake carbon boom jobbie......

Just done 2 packs and half tank and it balances up bang on. Thinking about it when I took off the 2 in 1 and the gov they prob weren't far off the weight of a rx pack.
Just to clarify. Is it a simple y lead I need. 2 plugs leading to one. If using two packs this way, does it not mean I would now be running a 14.8v pack rather than a 7.4? Or have I got this completely wrong

You have it wrong mate.. I did say I made a mistake saying series.. I meant parallel as in post #8. It means you are doubling you mah (so your 1900mah Align Lipos will now be 3800mah) and not changing the voltage. you need this EFLAEC307 EC3 Battery Parallel Y-Harness 13GA but if your using Align packs, you will have to find a harness with JST connectors (or cut those crappy red jst's off and solder EC3's on

Just looking at leads and going to make one up tomorrow.
But so I get it right, I've found 2 but want to know if they both do the same thing. This one And this one
Wired differently but do they do the same thing?

it looks like rich one is to double the cell count (ie make a 12 s out of 2x 6s packs) and the other in to parallel the mah
