If you followed the manual you would have struggled mate but yes you can fit the tank in prior to assembling the frames but it's a bit fiddly doing it that way & most leave putting the tank in till later.

When asked earlier about differences i couldnt for the life of me think of any bar the head then I stumbled across this. It's a new design carbon pushrod with one fixed sliding point.

Took the new 600 flying today & it was a total dissaster, mostly my fault for trying to cut corners. The aged os 50 hyper sprang a fuel leak to start with & wouldnt idle properly then the clutch started slipping after over priming the engine. This was due to me forgetting to put the 2 cross bolts in below the fan which grip the engine shaft but even after putting some in & doing up I still couldnt get it running & it continues to slip. I am now in need of a new engine for my new model but funds are prety tight unless I can find someone who wants to swap some spectrum rx's for one. It's either that or I need to blow it out on the credit card.

Yeh I did see that Nick & was thinking is it worth getting the 55?
I have a tt53 here which I've just sent the carb back amerang for the new one.
I may try that first & if no joy have a re think.

I personally wouldn't get an OS55, had to tune it all the time.

I wouldn't mind trying a YS56 though or even the Novarossi.

Failing that, stick with what you have got

My hopes are pinned on the new carb for the 53 sorting the horrible rich lean problem I had in the blink of an eye in the hover.
The engine ran that horribly it kept spitting the exhaust off of the thing every time I tried sorting the mixture I just couldnt get a decent run with it.
