  • Trex 600 vs Trex 700

Right, I'm looking down various paths when looking for my next Heli purchase! I am probably driving everyone mad with my flicking between different options. But I need to explore all options......lol! What's fuel usage on something like a Trex700 with a ys 91 engine compared to a 600 with a ys56??

    It's meant to read 600 vs 700

Go Align you wont go wrong with a 600 i personally much prefer the 700 and not that much difference in running cost,if fuel cost could be a problem then don't go nitro is my advise as you can soon burn a gallon or two on a good session.
Not sure of your ability but go for a 600 fly bared with a 50 and go fly the arse of it you will soon find your confidence and ability growing

personally id get a 700 if you can afford one, i know they are more expensive and drink fuel, but...

                they are alot more stable
they are easy to see in the air
                they are easyier to fly
                they look awsum
                they sound awsumm
                they are smooth and accurate
                they have POWERR!
they are also nice and responsive on the cyclic if needs be

iv flown both a 600 and a 700 and the 700 ticks all the box's
so yeh, in my opinion if you can go for the 700, do it,, you wont be dissapointed,!

I would have said go for the 700 because of the reasons others have given however, I did a long needed service on my 600 last week and when I took it out at the weekend it was massive fun and I enjoyed flying more than my 550, 700 and Rave ENV.

If you're concerned about the fuel usage then go for the 600 as you'll get 12 - 13 flights out of a gallon whereas you'll only get 8 - 9 on a 700.

the fuel difference isn't that much in running costs. the real difference comes in initial outlay, engine, stronger servo's and blades.
even the spares costs are not worlds apart, except for blades of course.
If you can afford it, deffo go with the 700 over any 50 on the market, you will not regret it. whereas if you do go for a 50, you'll always be wanting the 700. I have flown 700's, srimok 90, avant aurora, vibe 90, velocity 90 and there aint much wrong with any of them but to be honest, pound for pound you cannot beat the 700 in the way it flies for the money.

just my opinion of of course.

                              Trex 700 all the way.

Flying my 600 and 700 tonight and theres no contest. 600 probably could do with 8v to the servos but still 700 wins everytime.

700 great machine to advance on and more stable in this windy country!
