Excellent pics thanks.. Looks much more chunky, I like it - where exactly did you have to file ? Was it to create a groove for the canopy clip?

On the last pic near the exhaust, to the left you can see more thicker plastic. Now look on the other side, and same again thicker plastic. That thicker plastic was all the way from left to right, it's a slot. I just ground this off both skids, this was because i did not have longer screws. So only need to grind it back if you use the old screws.

so the red line is the thicker plastic i dint need to grind down, the blue line is where the plastic was.

Gotcha...thanks again very useful..am now convinced I need a set!

EDIT: just noticed if I used longer screws and didn't grind down, the clip would struggle to fit over the thicker plastic, right?

That's right, you would never be able to fit the clip, to chunky.

You would have to file grind down just the front bit, if and when you get a set, you will see. you will also see that grinding it down gives it more surface area to bolt to the frame.

They are the same size skids as my bro's raptor 60 now, just the alloy skids them selfs on mine are a tag thicker, so may be able to fit a biggy clip from a bigger heli.

I got these from fast lads and was low on stock, and out of stock on most colours. Hence my bright work skids, they look ok in the flesh though.

Any thing else just post up on here, and i'll do mi best

600 and 700 legs are the same but the skids are different lengths I'm sure - 700 ones are a tad longer than 600s. 600 ones still fit on a 700, but with not much poking out the back end. I fitted some 600 skids onto my 700 last week and found this out.
