700N FBL head problem

FBL machines usually fly better when the head is closer to the main body anyway so i would probably just buy a set of FBL mainshafts and be done with it! It will make the machine fly better and also makes things easier on you for setting up and also repair later on as you wont be scouring the country for link rods.

Also, Am i missing something??, the rods you have are 83.5 and you want some longer ones at 71mm??

Ops good spot i was tired lol the ones i have are 63.5mm long and i need 71.mm long

what is the distance between the collar and the bolt holes on the 700fl main shaft as its overall 4.5 mm longer than that std version ??
i will measure the std shaft when i get home from work
i also have the std main shaft on my fbl 700 and no probs at all with short link rods but im gonna check when i get home to be sure

My 700n's on stock shaft no problems using a 3G head i belive
the shorter shaft increases the likelyhood of boom strike occuring!
i also used the link rods that came with the 3G kit.
bringing the head closer to the air frame will make the response
faster! i understand that this is not a new idea and i think we are looking at about 20mm reduction in length of the shft.
