        See you tomorrow Leon

Every heli that has ever been made has it probs, whether its the build or builder, But in the end of the day its just the way it flys and how it makes you feel.

The N6 will be as good as all the new models out there.

With the nitro 50 its a level playing field because of the power plant, the electrics is the area where it all down to the money you want to throw at it.

        and have fun, I do!

The engine is back in but I had an issue with a couple of mm epoxy on top of the magnet, it made it hard for the sensor to pick up the magnet. I made it work in the end but there is slight rubbing of the epoxy on the sensor that I hope will wearing after the first flight.

Those senors are a pain to get to, I had to take out the right hand cyclic and tail servo and then you should just about get a few finger's in there to fiddle about with it.

          Anyway finish pics

Well I now have the G-force alu fan so if anyone whats a fan with a magnet in let me know. I also put the governor sensor on the outside of the frame and mounted it with a dab of thin CA.

The other day I noticed a horrible rattly vibration sound on idle which disappeared when the clutch engaged. I did sort of think that maybe the engine main bearing was shot but the sound was sort of worst than that.
So last night I dropped the engine out and stripped it down, the bearings where fine so I started looking at the clutch bell and found some play it, I took the clutch housing out and found the thread on the nut that holds the bearing in between pinion was stripped??????? There was a little bit of thread left as the bottom so I turned it upside down and remounted it, hopefully that should resolve it as I think this allowed the clutch bell to drop onto the clutch shoes hence the noise at idle.

Interesting thread, good qualty macro pics too.

Will be interested to hear how you think the flying capabilities & characteristics of your 600N compare to your Knight 50...

                  Cheers - Rob
