The only upgrades I would do are:
Replace the shoulder bolts with washer and standard bolt, but only on the ones for the engine/clutch/Starter area. You can do the rest but as Gravity Kills said if you are sensible with the locktite then you should be fine.
I'm not sure what engine you are running but if it's the YS91(which is the best option in my opinion), the a fuel magnet is perfect. Use the outlet on the outside of the fuel tank, not the central one. If you have the OS91 then header tank is definitely the way I would go.
Personally I would not bother upgrading the balls and links to QuickUK as there is no real point and the Align ones last an acceptable amount of time, plus they are pretty cheap to replace.
Build Stuff:
Really degrease the tail boom supports where they attach and preferably red locktite them in rather than blue. Also it might be worth getting a clamp that secures the two supports together just in case one comes unscrewed. At least that way it can't go up in to the blades. The pic at the top of this thread on an inferior forum is what I have .....here
Regarding the Starter block I run the standard plastic one and have not blown any main gears for at least 8 months. The tip I got from Wayne Osbourne (Duncans Dad) was to sand down the mating surfaces so that the bearing cannot move sideways at all. I think a combination or that and the newer oversized main gear seems to have done the trick so far.
You may find the damping a bit hard depending on the headspeed you will run, probably less so in the summer but maybe in the winter.
Be a bit careful of the wiring route you take on the 700 There are a number corners and bits and bobs that can rub on you radio gear wiring. More that the 600 as I remember.
Have fun
