Last week I swapped my N9 airframe for an almost new 700le and have to admit I've had a few moments of regret. I did it because as much as I liked the N9, I was always too worried about crashing the bl**dy thing!
Anyway, I spent the week stripping & re-building it and fitting the electrics and engine from the Synergy, and today put about 5 tanks through it (3 of 'em getting the Solid G set up!
), and I have to say I really quite like it!

It may not have the finesse of the Synergy, but it sure feels more powerful. Makes me wonder what the N9 would have been like with the lower gear ratio.
Only problem I'm having is foaming fuel... To the point that the header is filling up with air instead of fuel! I'll pull the motor out this week and hopefully get the clutch dialed in. (should have done it first time!
)
So far though, I'm liking this baby!
