can anyone tell me what the hole cut into the last 1 inch or so of the tail end of the boom is for? i have just rebuilt the torque tube and boom assembly and was expecting something on the tail case to sit in it! but nothing??

the 600nsp only uses the gearbox as the clamp nothing else. the 700 has a plastic spacer that locates the boom and sit behind the verticle fin.MARK
