700 tail grips

who is using the 700le tail grips with the standard bolts.
i have no high tensile bolts left and was just wondering if anyone else uses them on their tail grips

i know about what happened to yours matt and i heard of it happening to a few others thats why i normally fit the high tensile bolts or use the quick uk tail.
what have you got on yours now matt

I'm using the Quick UK grips now, quite a few gallons on them now and they are still as slop free and silky smooth as the day I fitted them

I have the Fastlad tail upgrade with extra bearing and longer bolts,but I still have slight movement when you move the tail grips..???

Some movement is a none issue as when its turning at 8000 rpms it will be fine.

ive now fitted the quick uk ones as i had a set here. cheers guys

That's more worrying than the bolts shearing as you can easily upgrade the bolts to guard against them failing but I do't think it's possible to upgrade the output shaft is it?

Not that I have seen but this is the first time I have heard of a failure like this
