not sure if this has been mentioned but align is releasing a firmware update to cure random tail wag on their 3G. it has been a well documented problem.

if you can't find anything else wrong mechanically then this maybe the "fault".

i would assume for now it's mechanical but thought i would throw it in the pot.

    cheers

One thing no-one has mentioned Mark.

Have you run through the setup again from the start.

Changing the grips may have upset something especially as you started to spool up the heli.

Run through the setup again Mark for the sake of 5 minutes.

I would also be tempted to pull the TT to check the bearings and the tube.

Grat thanks guys... some mor options to try there.

Went to the field again today and swapped out the tail grips for standard and no change so i will need to check the TT... re run the set up and if that fails wait for the firmware i guess.

Need to get it sorted for Charmouth in a couple of weeks and i'm running out of time!... then Corfu!

Hope its something simple but the mechanics seem spot on to the eye. If it is mechanical then its the TT or bearings somewhere in the tail but my gut instinct tells me they will all be spot on. we will see

Cheers for the ideas guys... will update
