What a difference the alloy starting block has made on my 600n,its just soooooo quiet now...worth doing, the plastic one wasnt holding the bearings tight and was getting a bad noise, alomost like when the engine bearings are going

Did you glue the bearings in the bearing block?

I was just thinking if the bearing started to turn in the plastic housing for any reason it would very quickly wear the plastic. In your original post you said they didn't fit very well.

In the metal housing use some bearing fit loctite or the Align green.

ive noticed some noise coming from one of my 600s and thought it was coming from the clutch block, changed the bearings out and its still there,a bit quieter maybe so i might try a metal block next time im flush
