I flew my 600LE a lot this weekend and while I guess mine does rev a little higher than usual before picking up the blades, it's not so high that I'm concerned by it. I've seen worse for sure
That said - I'll keep an eye on this!

i maidened my le this weekend and i also found that my clutch to ages to "dig in" perhapse just over 1/3 on the throttle stick.. its not a hinderance but it does seem strange..Jack

Just replaced by sons 600 clutch when it broke after two years service. Pre-breakage - no problem with high revs and spool up.
After replacment - the heli is screaming its knackers off before spool up (which is very quick when the clutch engages!). The liner looks brand new and is only 0.25mm thinner than a new one so wasn't changed.
The air gap although not measured is several mm's!
Could there be a different/bad batch of Align clutches?
Would a 700/R90 liner help?
