hi guys need some help.
have been burning up plugs.
have had 6 flights till now on this engine, as far as i can tell the engine sounds sweet has it tuned by a club member at Purfleet heli club. he did say he set it a tad rich.
now on normal flying i have had no problems so far for 4 tanks, on my 5-6 went idle up lost 2 plugs. both times did a dozen flips and held it inverted no more than 5 seconds, soon after flipping idle up the engine would slowly rev up to it max speed and then after flips and inverted i notice the smoke start to reduce and sound would change (so i guess it leaning out), but then even when i flipped it back to normal it would still lean and cut out in mid air, after 2 safe autos i am bask home.
i read a few post which suggested bearing issues but why fine in normal mode?
both time the plugs have completely lost the glow element. there is no wire left at all.
the engine is seconds hand the seller said he has done 9 tanks on it and as far as i can tell/club member makes loads of power and run sweet.
there is no header tank, and the idle up curve is 100 90 80 90 100 then i changed it to 80 flat to see if that would help but still burnt the plug.
any suggestions please before i get the engine out!

.... strip the engine and clean it all out .. change the rear bearing and then try again.... change fuel lines as well just to be on the safe side
