    The frame is pretty uneventful.

    Goes together typically Align,very simply.

The 600 has 3 main shaft bearing blocks with the top 2 being in silver and the bottom one being a 2 piece plastic job. Same with the clutch housing and this should be a one piece metal unit IMHO.

The fuel tank unlike the 700 only has 1 hole and this is mounted outside the frames and the tank has a slight angle to it too making it different from the 700 again.

I dont know if this has always been the case with the 600's but it is a very good idea although as you can see in the pics the hole is very close to the rubber protector.

Engine is very straight forward and easy to install on this.

Defo the easiest I have seen as no need to take skids and bottom plate off as it fits though with it all on,awesome

Even has a nice slot in the fan mount so the magnets for the gov can be read

When installing the elevator arm with the control shaft I had to use both washers supplied as one was just not enough and left the shaft pretruding just a little when the aileron levers where put on,no big deal here either.

On the tail unit everything was already lock tighted as I found out but best to be safe than sorry.

The tail rotor control arm was the only piece they left plastic and i already got the metal upgrade ready.

The tail blade grips where lock tighted in also but I decided to take apart so I could check to see if they had greased the thrust bearings. It turned out these were bone dry so it is well worth the little bit of grief getting them apart so you can smoother them in grease.

On the T type arm where the tiny screw goes thorugh the collar into the blade grip does not seem right,it allows a up and down movement on the control link and I have got the screw as tight as I dare because its so small it feels like it will round off if I do it anymore.
But its uniformed both sides so it must be how it is

Starting to look like a heli now the tail is done and on

Couple of things I did not like about the tail assembly on the 600.

First off all when mounting the boom block to the frame it use's self tappers and I do not like self tappers to much so I brushed them with super glue before putting them in,I usually do but I used a little more than normal this time.Plus when putting the tail unit on the boom the only thing holding it on is the little screw on the side clamping down around the boom, fine I'm sure but there is no guide when pushing the unit in and no little pin as such holding the unit on the boom like the 700 and the 500.

One good thing though is at the main boom block it comes with a little hole in both the block and the boom to "pin the tail" so this is a good touch but why could they not do this the other end

                Not long now

                    Hi Ben,

                    LE Looking good

I would recomend putting a bolt to pin the tail to the boom though.
(Trial fit without the torque tube when you drill the hole!)

Also I usually put a washer in the slit between the lugs on the tail gearbox so that you can tighten it up without it bending too bad.

                    Tim.

I think I will do that Tim as I not comfortable with the way its held on.Where exactly did you pin it that end? Through from the fin side??

Putting a washer inbetween is also a good idea.

                          Thanks

Cheers James,I had wanted a 600 for ages and this had to be the one as its all bling and I like bling

I am waiting for the Aurora 50 size.

I put the bolt on the underside, but between the fin bolts would work fine.
If you have an M3 tap it easy, though you could use a self tapper at a pinch.
Just check that it clears the torque tube.

You can just see the washer fitted in the photo as well.
