  • Trex 700 WOW

I have been questioning the sanity of a fellow flier who only ever flies his 700 at the clutton site when he has a 600 nsp like mine.
Well late yesterday afternoon I can honestly say that i've finaly seen the light.
    My 700 is just awesome!
I cant quite put my finger on why as there are to many plus points to this machine.
I also finaly managed to track down the wobble issue & whoever it was who said boom support hit the nail on the head.
it was the one on the exhaust side that had worked loose.
On my 1st flight yesterday I pulled off my biggest auto from around 150 ft smack onto the centre of the patch with a huge hang at the bottom before nestling down gently.
The thing just autos so nicely.
I then tried to bog it in ticktocs & side flips, to no avail, did some huge 540 stall turns & it just laps it all up.
I still have the vibe 50 to finish & can say here & now that if that flies well I will be selling 2 of my 50's as they will no longer be needed.

The 700 is a great heli no doubt and I dont think anyone who has owned one would disagree as they are just so sweet.

i would of quite happily run 2 700 instead of 2 auroras but the oportunity came up 2 run another aurora and couldn't resist.
The 700 is superb and i am glad you are liking it Martin, now you just need to speed that tail up a bit and wind up that head speed and let me have another go lol

Mines not been built without incident.
The vibrations at first made the header empty
when the main tank was still half full.
But perseverence pays or so i'm told
now I have one sweet flying machine thats
made me believe I have to sell my NSP & my Pro.

i rarely, if ever, fly my 50 all the time i have the fuel and a working 90 I just cant bring myself to fly the smaller stuff, the synergy flys so much better, quicker, more powerful, im super comfortable with it.

Glad you finally got to the bottom of the 700 problems, now go enjoy

Well done Martin. One day I will try a 700 but not yet.
Wish I was mode 2 and might have a chance of going on one.
Are you taking it to Corfu?
I am not going the flight put me off if you go over the wieght it's silly money.
Atleast there is 3 of you going so 1 with clothes and 2 with heli's so you can have 60kg I would only get 20kg.
Because I am not going I brought another heli
                  cheers Paul

I love my 700 and can fully understand why people like 90 sized machines. think I could easily just fly 90's myself.
                      All the best

I have a second 600 nsp with a red canopy but want a yellow one
I love my 600 but not tried a 700 yet. one day.
I can't push the 600 to hard yet so don't need a bigger fuel bill yet.
Pm me the details as I know some others that might.
                          thanks again Paul
                          Cheers Paul
