  • Advice please: Initial Throttle/pitch curves 700 LE???

I'm finishing the build of my T-Rex 700 LE.

What would be a good starting point on the throttle/pitch curves?

On my 600 NSP I run the Align governor with the DX7.
What would the settings be on the 700 with the same governor/DX7?

    Thanx for your views!

    Ciao,
    Robin.

on a OS/Align 90 with an align gov, the endpoint for around 1850 HS is 73% while 1950 is around 80%

however, the curves dont have anythng to do with this and you should set your curves first.

In normal I'd start with somethng like 0 35 45 50 60 and adjust from there. once you are happy with the hovering speed in normal you can match your idle up curves.

      then engage your gov

        Ok, thanx.

So what would the 3 headspeeds be for N/I1/I2?
Is that around: Normal: 1750, Idle Up 1: 1850 and Idle Up 2: 1950?

I am actually amazed by the low starting points, does the Align 90 have so much power?

Yeah thats what I would set for.

They are just a starting point, you will refine them. It would be no good to have the motor hitting its target HS at too high a barrel setting or there would be no throttle left for load.

for now, dont worry about your gov, get your curves right then engage the gov
