      I splashed out on the item suggested at FastLads but prior to that I use plastic tye raps/zip ties fed in from either side or thin wood strips (lolly sticks) with a long chamfer sanded - worked OK but not as accurate as the tool.

        some good ideas and suggestions here. I like mickey blings clothes peg idea cos it wont scratch anything as ive scratched the seesaw on my kasama head using an allen key.Im using a spirit level bubble on the paddles so need to keep the flybar level while still being able to turn the head 90' to check for interactions

          I made this see attached picture.

          The wood is birch 1cm x 1cm (model shop)
          3mm piano wire (model shop)

          Measure from fly bar to wood on both sides (39 - 40mm) to level fly bar with the head.

          And it doesn't scratch anything, and you have full pitch movement both ways

          Works for me...

              Don't need threaded bar friction holds it enough if you drill 3mm hole
