Hi guys
Just set-up the 600 with my "new" DX7. It went really well. First thing I did after binding was get all the servos going the right way. It needed absolutely zero sub-trim to get the servos to 90! Result!
Following that I pulled the head off and used the cheapo swash levelling tool to get it all level. I couldn't use an allen key this time as the top of the swash plate is higher than the linkage balls, so I cut down and old wire coat hanger and this worked a treat.
I did find that, whilst it was level at mid stick, it was a little out at top and bottom. The DX7 travel adjust took care of this so now I'm level at bottom, middle and top stick positions.
I've set my gyro gain to 65%. Will go hover in the week if time permits.
