I heard this RCE600 gyro is good for electrics but too sensitive to vibration to be good on a nitro. Is this true?
I think steelie600 was running one on a nitro weren't you?

no rob, just i bit hypocsik.

surely a 600n doesn't take all winter to build.

Isn't the sport the one with the belt drive that dont work.

anyhow. i suppose there is a link between 3d performance and reliability.

if its gonna have 300 notes worth of ballast hanging off it maybe some top notch electrics might be the way to go.??

is a 600n the right model for a scale when u can get a set of mechanics and a body for the same price(graupner).

does anyone have a link for that hand cream.

        Thats IMHO of course!
That sings my tune - I'm not looking for cheapie, but mainly ease of build/set up/installation!! I'm not looking to do any more in terms of manouverability etc, than what you'd expect the real thing to do day-to-day..(Lynx's excepted!!)

It does if your a novice who's never at home and lives on a boat!

Now I must admit I considered this and if the Graupner is available pod and boom, then its a possibility as they do a spanking 206 fuz..

True, but the align offering is a shed load cheaper...

The only difference is the 401 is long term proven - Align gyro hasn't been available long enough as yet to have that same said about it.
My gut feeling is that it will be fine.

                      Rob,

The Align one for 30-50 machines with a tail servo for the 600n is 120 pounds

The one for the T-rex 500 is 67 pounds inc tail servo (which is a LOT cheaper than the futaba offering)

so he'd need the 120 pound one same as me if I get one for my scale machine.

Ah, sorry, thats the 700... I've been thinking of the 600 all this time!
I bet the 600 would still work on a scale heli...
It's not like it would be under any duress

to answer the one on the graupner
yes you can get the pod and boom kit for it
you get the mechanics and tail gear box in one box
and the boom, fins and canopy in another box
this is so you don't have to buy the pod and boom bit if you're going straight into scale with it
for the graupner look at martin briggs model

No competition - Graupner it is!! As long as the DX7 TX and an AR7000 will suit the mechanics it's a no brainer for me..
