worked ok on my sky broadband.....nice flying...funny because when i took my heli out earlier my fingers and thumbs and brain didn't have any of those combinations available......except the hovering and wayward forward flight....was quite gusty although a hot day today in wycombe

I'm only on 4MB and get a smooth playback, but I'm on cable so don't get any contention issues from other people on the same ADSL exchange.

That's the last time I do vid from someone else's camera, spent all day trying to compress that damn video yesterday and it's still crap. <goes off in a strop>

it's not the camera that's the problem, it's the compression that HDD cameras put on their data. Soon as you try to compress it again for web delivery the arse falls out of the quality.

You sure it isn't that useless mac not able to handle HD video?

I think part of the choppy playback will be machines that don't have graphics cards that can handle the data throughput. It's a lot of data and if you haven't got a high spec machine it just won't play it nice.

                        Hum...

Mac Pro here and there's no way a video like that would even begin to slow it down. It's something causing the stutter but its not computer spec thats for sure.

Found an over clocking tool for the Mac Pro from 2.66 cores to 3GHZ now

dunno why I can play it with no stutter on my crappy 2ghz vista dual core then, however, I have managed to succesfully recode it by converting to MP2 at extremely high bit rate then compressing to h264. I'll upload it a bit later.
