janek, i usually fly 90's and the trex 500. i only get 4 mins on that so when i get to 6-7 mins on my 90's i'm bored so i just land it.

    cheers

Fuel magnets are good as you can be sure if there's fuel in the tank you'll get it to the engine. However i still use header tanks. Header tanks have much more to offer than constant fuel feed without unwanted engine surging air bubbles. A Header tank will ensure that fuel pressure arriving at the carb remains constant (provided the header is full), it will allow you to safely use all the fuel in the main tank and finally you get a greater loiter time so you can squeeze out a few more tricks before touching down for a refill.

I've just got a fuel magnet. Didnt realise they had to be kept 'wet'. Does this apply during storage at home? Can the fuel in the tank degrade with time as its not air tight like the container it comes in? (Not that i'd ever wait that long to fly, just curious!!)
