thanks buster for mentioning the best flying 50 on the market :-)

you would think that after a million variations of the 450, 600e, 2 versions of the 600n and the 500 you would think that they might have learnt from their mistakes with the 700......

    not saying they have mind,

Have to agree there, the nicest flying 50 on the market is the Mikado 600 (in vbar variant).

And the nicest flying 30 is the Mikado Logo 500

The price of the 700N is a little higher than expected but they do throw in the governor, thank god for Ebay

Now we've got the price sorted, when will they actually arrive and how many will turn up, I don't know how far I am up the pre-order list!

At a club level I've seen a lot of interest in the 700N, mainly around repair costs. I've spoken to 4 600N owners who are seriously considering the 700N as the next heli to add to their fleets, having seen a 'crash cost' comparison between the 700N, 600N, Synergy N9 and Avant Aurora it's only slightly more to crash than the 600N and around half the cost of the others. 90's are intimidating to many not just because of their size but more around keeping them in the air after crashes, I'd much rather crash a 700N than my Fury Extreme so I'll push the envelope farther.

So the price is confirmed, and its £200 cheaper than its closest rivals and is that good news? The 600 was everything I wished my old raptor 50 was but was on an even price if not slightly more expensive. does anyone know if there was any changes made from the original design, and is the Align gov any good?? I am in the queue at Midlands as we speak, hope this doesnt turn out to be another Avant type story, no reason to suspect that it will be though at this stage.. but my gut feeling says it should be out already, what are we waiting on? other than the Wonderfull Scotish winter.

there are kits available from abroad now, my kit will be flying on sunday all going well as it shipped today. i will post what changes, if any are over the pre production units if i can find out. the gov i'm afraid is not even being taken out the packet, wouldn't trust it as far as i could throw it.

word is be 3 weeks or so before the kits are here....we shall see.

better be worth it as i sold a perfectly good heli to pay for this one.

                        cheers

The Align governor works fine - I believe most or all the first factory vids have it fitted so watch them to see performance.

I've been running one on my 600n (when I actually manage to fly these days!) and found you need the engine tuned well as it's a little unforgiving of mistuning.

In my opinion it isn't as good as the Aerospire Multigov, but it is probably as good or possibly better than a RevMax, for example, on it's overspeed limiting and headspeed holding.

                            Cheers,
                            Rob

yes, the vibe is gone hence i'm getting the 700. if i don't like the 700 i'll sell it and keep the synergys but the part prices were too good to miss out on seeing just what it is like.

                                cheers
