TRex 600 Nitro Super Pro build tips???

Nearly finished the build but need some advice please. Do I need a voltage regulator to run the 9254 futaba rudder servo? Align instructions say one must be used with 4.8v servos.

You can use a regulator yeh... i use the Align 2in1 on my 600 NSP (see pics). Just put an Align 5.1v stepdown on the tail servo mate and job done.

Thanks for the info, looks like another purchase to make before the bird lift's off.

Although you say the Align 5.1v is ok as it is still more than the recommended 4.8v is there any advantage for getting this and not a true 4.8?

You can't get a true 4.8V step-down.
You will be stepping the regulated voltage (6V) down to around 5.1 with the diode from Align (actually more like 5.2).
