    Ah, superb. Cheers mate.

Really just taking my time getting this baby built up. Guys at the shop asked if I had flown a nitro before, which I haven't so they said they will check it over when I am done and give it a test flight.

Got my servos fitted last night, just gonna wait until the new horns arrive before I continue with it.

        Richard.

If it was Leeds Model Shop where you bought it they do a free setup servis and test fly it for you too.

I like to do my own but if your in doubt then let them do it. Much safer.

                  Hi Buster

Yeah, it was Leeds Model Shop. I wouldn't trust myself to have it setup right when I finsih with it. Only been into this since christmas and never even seen a real nitro one fly yet, never mind build one. Would rather be safe than sorry and they have been great with me at that shop. Can't praise them enough.

                        Hi Guys,
Got my 600 NSP last weekend from Leeds. Almost built, just the setup to do. In keeping with the thread theme perhaps I can add a couple of tips even though I am a noob!

My stock plastic fan was warped - so its going back to LMS for some credit, replaced with a QuickUK fan

As Finless Bob says - take apart every thing that is pre-assembled and put it together with properly with Loctite - some of my factory built items were not Loctite'd.

Is there a recommended location for the 2 in 1 switch unit/ignition switch for ease of access when starting without removing the canopy but without risking ingress of fuel?
                        Shaun.

I put mine on the right hand side. Upside down just under the fuel tank line.
I also sealed the unit around the edge with silicone sealant.

Thanks Adrian. Were you aware that the switch contacts are liable to corrosion and a good squirt with contact cleaner is recommended?

Yes. Saw the post in question.
I have not been squirting with contact cleaner (don't have any).
But am thinking that because of the way i mounted it (inverted) and the fact that I have sealant around it i am hoping that I wont be prone to this happening.
I do keep my eye on it though and wiggle the switch from time to time to check.
If/when it does corrode I think I will solder an external switch and short the switch out on the 2in1.
                              Adrian.

I thought about velcro'ing onto the bottom of the lipo??? Access would be through the underside of the canopy. What do you think?
