Cool!... we will talk money, you could add to my bill!!

Will pay up on payday along with the muscle pipe.

Read on a build website that the paddle holes are too small in kit form. Bad design.... needs M3 grubs instead of the M2 ones supplied. I thought i was the newbie engineer so two days of head scratching, turns out Align have fallen at this hurdle!!

Sorry to have missed this thread until now...

As you already know, the grub screws supplied in the kit for the paddles are the wrong size.
I substituted M3 grub screws, which is the correct size.
          Cheers,
          Rob

And i know because of your excellent site as listed above. I carried out the head assembly with the manual in front of me and my laptop with your detailed walk through to my side. I must say you have done a great job of this and have managed to highlight all the un answered Q's in the manual (like this one!) the only reason i did not come across your explination of the flybar grub screws earlier is i jumped the gun (against your site advice) and fitted the paddles as per the manual (too eager!) I will not ignore your deviations from the manual again.

May i say to anyone working with the 600 for the first time that Rob's insight is excellent and a truelly invaluable armoury to your initial build. Thanks Rob!!

P.s will blame you now if it all goes wrong later!!!!!

Yeh no probs, i expect you will be over at some point for me to hinder, i mean help your progress expecially when it comes to setting up the controls and Tx.
Picked up my servos for the Trex 500 today, just got to get the kit, blades and tail servo and strip out the 600. I think i could have it in the air in a couple of weeks.

Your starting to sound like me James... getting all the bits in the wrong order and setting dreamy deadlines for lift off!!! Good to see i'm having a little influence or is that what you have done to me lately!!

Think it is my bad influence to be fair
Hopefully get the kit this weekend or early next week, my things are selling well on ebay and with the stuff you are having off me will give me enough reddies for the build. Then the sale of the 600 should allow me to buy some more batteries.

My mates out of the country at the mo regarding your 600e but will keep you posted. as i said it may be a bit advanced for him, he'd not obsessive as me!! but you never know.
What are you doing with the servos from the the 600... do these not have my name on them!!?

Talk about stripping one to build another.
If you want the servos mate you can have all 3 cyclic ones for £50 including the align servo horns if you want them.
I like this buying new heli buisness, only have the bare kit left at this rate.
