It happened to me twice. First the Outrage Fusion 50 and then the Beam Avantgarde. Beam isn't extinct but just no shops stock them anymore. When I bought them we had FL and others stocking everything, then some shops in the USA and now nada, you have to order direct from Korea for Beam stuff and Outrage has vanished.

It was Outrage (rubbish spares availability, and dropping helis - then disappearing) that drove me to Align; largely on the basis of availability.

SAB seem to be serious in the same way Align are - whilst having some design features, etc that I prefer.

Compare a Goblin 500 with a T-Rex 500 (let alone a 550), and I don't think the price premium is that much - unless you look at Align super combos. Then again,

SAB Goblin 500 Sport Combo Yellow with 2 sets of blades SG510 £590

T-Rex 500L Dominator Super Combo RH50E07XT £455

The SAB has two sets of blades; the Align has a 3GX . I reckon the prices get closer if you start considering that you won't want an Align ESC or 3GX.

Whereas a Goblin kit is £410 [SAB Goblin 500 Sport Yellow with 2 sets of blades SG508] but comes with two sets of main and tail blades (which are significantly pricier than Align blades).

A 550 Dominator super combo is £720 (but has a Talon 90 and BeastX - so might actually be pretty much what you need). £392 airframe & blades. [£410 Goblin has two sets of blades]

The 500 Goblin (Sport) is pretty mainstream IMO.
