Yeh but as the swash moves up and down the rotational directions cancel themselves out so a bearing wont rotate, only on roll would it benefit, the least frictional movement.

Assuming the swash pin is fixed to centre race as it moves up,right side of anti rotation bracket will try to spin outer race clockwise where as left side of bracket will try to spin it anticlockwise.

Bearings are designed to rotate not move up and down inside a fixed assembly.

The bearing will always press very slightly against one side of the AR bracket as a result of the small amounts of drag/friction between the rotating shaft and the swash ball?

I do however think it's pointless overcomplication and my perfect solution would be either CF or Alloy bracket lined with plastic at the contact point (like the new align 700e DFC V4 has)
TBH probably the best material for the job would be all plastic from a purely functional point of view. Light, strong, cheap, easy to make......

Yeh a plastic low friction solution seems best to me,you can see the scratch marks on the guide in the pics so theres your friction still.

Yeah but if you think that the swash is twisting this part constantly, the bearing will likely only be making contact on one side. Chances are the bracket is a hairs width wider, which you could argue translates as slop. Personally, I just think a plastic/PTFE insert in a metal bracket with a bit of grease still suffices, but I'm no engineer

EDIT: maddog7 got there before me... git

                  Well spotted man,
Just thinking about it, the bearing might make wear on the AR worse, think about it when the swash is kept tilted fully forward or backwards and then moved up or down, the bearing will be at an angle to the bracket but won't be able to move in an arc and so will scrape to an extent, probably worse than no bearing?

                          Harry,

                          Hmm... it's something!

One comment... about the bearing and marks on the AR bracket.. I see them, too. Note the marks are more narrow than the bearing; it is unlikely they came from the bearing. Also, I doubt the model in the pictures had flown at the time of the pictures. Those are sample parts. As such, the quality is outstanding.

I'm now thinking Rush 800 considering it has a kosmik 200. Hmm...

Like the RushN thread, I'm gonna keep hoping for a 650

It's pictured with a Scorpion 4035, which is a 700 class motor, so that (to me) says 600 - 700 size. Maybe the 630 size that the Goblin and Ballistic sit in.

That would be big for a 550 unless it was a 12S one with absolutely monster battery pounding performance.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
