I like the idea of the bearing in the swashplate guide, never seen that before.
    Cheers,
    Grant.
Kasamas have it also, really is a nice touch.

I really just hope it's not a "rush speed" or something if I'm honest.

New model on the way from ALeeS!

I'd be really surprised if it was a 700/750v2 since the original was such a beautiful design already and is currently their only heli.

Wouldn't make much sense to me to go and remake an already excellent (and still rather young) heli rather than release a different class and expand the range and thus potential market.... People who didn't buy a "v1" 750 because it's too big/expensive for example are unlikely to go and buy a v2, whereas they might buy eg a 550 class.

Not seeing any comments regarding strange solution that grip links attach to swash guide, not to swash directly - is this something I'm the only one seeing for the first time? Doesn't it add additional slop in relation to swashplate? Just trying to find a reason behind such design.

That's the 2SIC head which is already on the current Rush... doesn't add any slop. In fact if you ever have the chance to put together a rush, you'll see that slop is not a word that exists in their vocabulary lol.

From comments on both Facebook and helifreak, looks like there is most likely a v2 of the original 750 on the way but there are a few models waiting in the wings.

The 4035-500 suggests to me that the bird in the piccies is a 550 or more likely 600 size machine?

Although that is traditionally a 700 motor. A 4035 would be a bit big for a 550, and typically a 550 would be running on 6s so if anything it must be a 600 or 700.

                      Ahh gotcha,
I thought the 42XX series were the 700 sized ones and the 40XX were 600, I know you can use what you like if it fits but the tendency seems to be toward fitting oversized motors, hence the possibilty it might be a big 550 (think the new Dominator with a 600 or 700mx or whatever it has in now!) or a 600. Even the 450L has a 6s option now.
The boundaries are blurring somewhat these days.....

Yeah the boundaries are blurring, I agree, although a 500kv motor seems and odd choice for a 550. Might as well make it a 600.

Am i missing something, whats the point of a single bearing on the swash guide?

I don't get it either. The only benefit I can see is that the swash tilting can roll with potentially less friction, but I don't see why that would help as it's only one movement that would benefit.

Less friction, less load on the servo.

I've certainly got no facts or data but I can imagine it may help on a 700 as there is a lot of force on that big disc.
