thanks for those devin.
I ended up going back to the original 50 mid sound (the one you did was just a little too high pitched for my liking)
but kept all the others the electrics for example sound much better.
the idle on the 50 sounds superb especially during autos.

Finally had some time to have a look at these alternative sounds files!
Interesting, not to sure what I make of these.
The one I liked best for the 50glowmid was the one nitro_w-hatori.zip which had some blade flap sound in it. Now it’s not quite realistic (sounds more like a full hovering high up in a wind) but it gives a sense you really have rotational energy in the disc. Well to me anyway, though I am still playing round with them.
There is some difference in the effect of these on the different sound settings, I mainly use OpenAL normally.
I agree with you on The electrics ones (400 & 600), definite improvement.
Anyone interested these are well worth checking out, you might want to make a copy of the originals before you start though.
Hey Guys, Thought I would just chime in and compliment the group on some fine material. I hope you don't mind but I posted a link to this location back at my stomping grounds - Heli Freak - in the new "Custom" subforum. I wanted to make sure the fliers there had a chance to see and enjoy it as well.
Keep up the great work!!
