I looked at the Canomod site and the photos are pretty small of their 'Maxga'.
Not sure if they will come out that well, have you see a good picture of one anywhere?

I have been doing them quite differently by editing photographs.
Pretty tedious actually.
What looks like a plain colour region is always a blend of shades of pixels which makes all kinds of problems.

I do end up drawing in lots of bits as well, Some of it in the Phoenix Editor (Helpful for getting match lines). Its pretty fun though, and kinda addictive.
I noticed there is a pretty sick Flames mask in the editor, gonna find a use for that on my next one! And I am fed up with doing existing canopies, gonna start designing my own schemes from now on.

I found a slightly better picture of the Maxga canopy, and made the attached.

The Trex Logo on the RH side has a colour blend making it tricky to mirror, so I have left it. You have to look pretty closely to really notice. If it matters it could be done though.

another couple

Another couple of phoenix skins
these are some skins i did for HB (some of you may have seen him on phoenix)
anyways Rockamp german company they make lipos and gyros n stuff
and they have a promotion going on called pimp my heli anyways you buy the lipos and also one of these limited edition fusuno canopys... (sorry if that sounded like an ad but ill be getting one of the canpoys for doing the skins so i said i'd link the site )

some nice skins there.
and the skull is indeed cool..... I tried to get the align logo over the screen but it stretches it about too much to get it looking good (the texture map is 2D/planar being put onto a 3d model and UV map always gets stretched at the seams), never thought of trying something a little more abstract.

the only thing that bothers me is that they are all over the place and you have to hunt through endless pages to get the good ones (i got fed up after page 7)

I think our way of doing it is better with everything in the 1st post of the thread
(in case you didn't notice every time a skin is added here I edit it into the 1st post so that they are easy for people to grab)
