I don't have a panohead! I just took a load of pics and tried to cover every angle! My intent was to use one of the Canon utilities that came with the 1D Mk 2 (8Mpixel) I use. Before I waste your time, is there a "flying sites for dummies" guide I can read so that I get the photography right?

                you're meant to mention it

i said in the original post if i've misplaced objects etc let me know..

its easy to overlook things because the I hide a lot of the objects from view as i go along

                ill get the issues sorted...
the vegas one is a 2 minute fix.... its just a naming issue.

Edit: AHA the hangars at the airport is a pretty simple fix too... you can actually fly over them its just that theres an invisible force field that goes about 3 feet obove the roof

I must have inadvertably moved the cylinder objects out of alignment when i was editing other objects.
(the interface in the creator is terrible to be honest)
if it was like lightwaves modeling tools i could churn out about 10 of these sites a night

each one takes about 2-3 hours to do in phoenix creator and without exageration i could do it far more accuratly in about 15 mins in the wave

will get the hangars sorted tonight.

144 photos is a bit excessive...
i did our flying field in G3.5 ages ago and I used 10 photos per 360 degree row..
5 rows see here. i used 32mm focal length on an EOS5D (35mm sensor so a typical DSLR (usually a 22mm sensor) would need more photos)
the resulting panorama was HUGE about 40000 pixels wide.

for phoenix this would then need to be split up into 6 images for the cube map
(fortunately theres software that does that)

Si you're definately going to have to redo... handheld will be no use at all

Update to the Luebeck airport scene.
hangars now fixed (you can even fly inside if you want now, which took some doing i can tell ya )
phoenix creator has an issue with doing cylinders and it doesn't pass the correct height to the scene file.
so i had to make these by hand with skyline and cube objects.

wings on the cessna made a bit wider so they are easier to land on.

and a general clean up of collision objects.
delete the original Luebeck-airport file from your flying sites folder
and replace with this one (renamed to luebeck2 to avoid confusion)
