I never had any luck with my Mac and AccuRC either. Works fine on a windoze pc, but apple - no way. Tried discord to report a problem, but gave up when someone gave me a simple answer that others had it working fine. That answer wasn’t very helpful, and I now fly heli-x! Good luck Phil.
To be fair I still have Phoenix that works OK in a virtual box and with the Mac booted in Windows natively. I was just trying to get a bit updated. Think I will be going for refunds all round soon if I can't sort a fix

I hear you. I wanted a sim that worked with Apple and didn’t want to use bootcamp. HeliX or NeXt both work fine for me on the Apple MacBook Pro. Daughter liked the MacBook, so ended up buying a gaming laptop to run the sims on in windoze. Happy now with using either machine through a set of goggles giving a 55 inch equivalent screen. Probably the only way to know for sure is to try installing your Steam account on a Windows machine to see if you can get AccuRC working.

AccuRC works fine on Mac, we have updated the build multiple times in recent months in line with the windows build.
the fact the dongle isnt working in windows in joy.cpl tells me the dongle isnt working at all.
