Don't have it to try but saw a post on Google plus early today from the AccuRC folks acknowledging the long time to install and advising to copy the content of the DVD to your hard drive and then install from the hard drive to speed things up

Sadly I shan't be getting accuRC.. my PC's are fast enough for the pathetic internet speeds of rural wales but way below spec for this new sim..cost hard to justify.

Well after spending many hours on the phone to Ash at Accurc I've finally got this thing to work. I had some daft piece of software blocking it but after clearing out the hard disk it's working nicely. I'm been tuning models and it really does make a difference to have things like rotor gain and tail gain and paddle sim and other such terms we are all familiar with.

Anyway after a bit of fiddling I've got a rush to fly like my low head speed G4, I'll link it into a thread for down load so people can feel free to try it.

hi all, i have got pheonix rc and i must say when it works its a great simulator which i have found very handy as im new to flying bigger helicopters. unfortunatly like another user said it requires alot of messing about with which i do hope is not going to be a issue with AccuRC

i must say AccuRC looks sweet and hopefully after a month or so of its release they will have most of the bugs out of it.

i think also you are going to need a high end gaming machine to run it and run it well with high frame rate as the specs are quite high and although it shows minimum and recommended spec there is no optimum spec listed

              Minimum spec
i3 2.1ghz or AMD FX6100, 4gb ram, Nvidia GT425M or GT630, Radeon HD 7640G or 7600M or equivalents. 2.5GB Hard Drive Space. DirectX compatible sound card. DVD Drive. Windows Vista/7/8.
              Recommended Spec
Intel i5 2.5ghz or AMD FX8350, 4GB ram, Nvidia GTX 660 or Radeon R9 270, Nvidia GTX680M or Radeon HD7970M or equivalents. 2.5GB Hard Drive Space. DirectX compatible sound card. DVD Drive. Windows Vista/7/8.

i will hold off till i hear a few reviews on here
