  • AccuRC. Who's ordered and who's going to order?

So looks like AccuRC release date is upon us. So who's already order a copy and who would like to order but are waiting to hear some feedback first?

  • #2
    Yup I've ordered it.
Given what I have seen & who's behind it I have confidence in it.

Need some explanation of the adapters that are on sale, I bought a Futaba S-bus & Spektrum Sat adapter.
So I will be able to use either of my TX's.
Not sure exactly how that all works though.

    Tim.

I've Looked through the adapter list they have the normal hardwire, plug the Tx into the dongle, for different radio manufacturers and a Futaba and Spektrum option that looks to be similar to the SimStick system, Wireless Simulator Interface : Simstick Pro: Spektrum, Futaba, JR, etc

It's a shame that the AccuRC web site doesn't have a lot of info in the FAQ section or a downloadable manual yet.

Gonna hold off until some regular type people have tried it and given their opinion. I already have Phoenix and RF7 so will want to really believe it is a step up before I part with any cash (even at the pretty reasonable VFM that it is)

I am assuming that the S-Bus adapter uses a Futaba RX, but I dont have any spare S-Bus RX's at the moment.
I do have a spare Spektrum Sat so will try that with my old Spektrum tranny. I assume it needs just the Sat not a RX.

Hopefully all will become clrear when it turns up!

            Tim.

Yes, they are receivers in their own right so the will pass on all the data to the AccuRC dongle as if you were hardwired to it.

It comes with a cable, if you want wireless you need to add a satelite:-)

I ordered it. My Phoenix lead was playing around anyway and I got fed up with twisting and pulling the cable about to get it to work.

I have no intention on replacing my Phoenix but I'm eager to here the regular fliers opinion instead of the testers

                            I don't normally do this,
I'm currently ranking AccuRC below Vbar for software use. Paddy will know exactly what I'm on about.
