How longs a piece of string Steve?? Time depends on the level of detail to be put in. Realistically I could have a basic kit flying in a week, with another week to paint and add detail. But if the route is full on accurate as possible detail were talking 100's of hours.

So would I. When I can fly properly. I will have a go at a scale project. As and when I do I will post a thread.

If I get asked to build it Paul I will do. Im helping Pete out with lists and costings at the minute, but the ultimate decision is his. I will put all the facts in front of the OP and then let him decide which course of action suits his circumstances best. It will not be cheap I can say that with certainty!!

                            kev
you're hoping a lot to get a vario kit flying in a week
the instructions are very vague at the best
the wood work that comes in the kit must be made for someone else's heli
as they aren't even close to the vario body shell

but once built and flying they go well
if you go with a 4 blade head use the OF one
and use the cine scale fenistron tail not the vario one
and with a turbined ec135 don't go ott on the scale detailing as the mechanics are too heavy for the disc size
the glow powered vario ec135 seams to fly the best and would fly even better with the electric conversion inside

or go with the big ec135 because any woman will tell you size is everything
                            Hirobo Turbulence D3
                            a bunch of bls servo's and a 701 gyro
Powered by an OS91 hz and a MP2

it would be a week of all day and night working mate. Jobless bum remember! LOL

Yeah been looking at Cinescale fenestrons, also they do ready done fuselages, Wood installed, all the scale stuff done ready to put mechanics in, but it aint cheap!!

And the quarter scale is a thing of beauty and I would imagine with the size an easier build too. It would frighten the pants off me test flying it tho!! You would hear my arse clapping in London!!
