hello everyone ,thank you for the positive comments i`ve put the lid on , this will be cut in two , to give access for gyro adjustments etc , the main door bottom half requires a hinge or three .oh n she has a 4 degree forward tilt on the head too ( forgot to say ) , hopefully there will be someone over our field sunday with a camera , we got thick fog showing on the forecast , so hopefully we`ll see it . so i`m afraid the seaking won`t be in cheshire mr sceadu. sparts , they are hard to find , but i got this n my schweizer 300 , so am happy for now , not quite sure how she`ll tic toc etc , n hopefully i won`t find out .

cool , cheers chap , every since I was a young lad , I`ve always wanted a seaking , spotted one a very very long time ago and thought , yes please , same with my schweizer 300 , must have been the first rc heli I every saw , god knows what it was , but must have been 30 years ago and I remember the bloke taking what seemed forever to lift off n hover , no doubt he had no gyro etc , anyway , I`ll shut up n look forward to whizzing the king about

The heli will be lucky to even make it one piece to the weekend let alone Cheshire on Sunday.

                  Looks pretty good though Ady.

wow what a small world. pretty sure that's my sea king I sold to a guy a few weeks ago. Does it have a crack in the paint on the boom - result of my tail heavy landing if it has. Never had any confidence with it after that so after gathering dust in the garage for couple of years decde to part with it. Was the old picture taken at Park Hall club, as thats my club that's where I saw it

I'm amazed - I guess he couldn't get on with it and traded it in. Conversion to electric is a good move but I think the tail will always be an issue, never seemed to have any tail power to me, and difficult to get enough throw
Good luck with it though, cos there's not many around.

well i`m glad he sold it , cos i got it compared to my goblin , the tail is er not as powerful , compared to my tandems that i`ve built , its awesome. fingers crossed for some circuits tomorrow , will report how she goes
