500 Airwolf build

Hi all starting my first scale build 500 airwolf, if you have any tips i would be glad to here from you. Just waiting for bits to come ie lighting kit, ducted fans etc,
may need help with wiring. will post updates when i can.

Airwolf update. all lights fitted and the build of the ducted fans complete next step is to install the fans and all the wiring.

I bought an Airwolf fuselage myself for my old Trex 500. Realised I just wasn't cut out for scale builds and sold both before I got anywhere with it, but always admire them anyway!

You should share a few pics! And don't forget to video the maiden flight when you get to it!

Here's a tip. Check out the pictures in my album and at all costs avoid!
Be very confident that the airframe your using is 100% sorted. The disaster in the picture was caused by a component failure. Main shaft sheared off. It was a type I had never used before with a groove for the retaining ring. Minor vibes from the fuse just set it off on a wobble and down it came. All too quick to do anything about.

And I still have your Airwolf Body in its box waiting to be built.
I have converted my 500 to FBL before I put it in to the body.

Hi Stuart, using Turnigy led set and spliced in extra leds 1 red and 1 white

Not sure where Wisbech is but if its near Runcorn Cheshire and you want to pick it up, I have an Airwolf 500 size fuselage that you can have for free
there are lights and retracts in the fuselage.
There is also a Gaui 425 air frame that you could have as well this has motor and servos and esc but no blades and gyro
They might be worth the fuel costs to you
it was complete and has been flown but i strip it down for some parts i needed from it
