be careful with the ducted fans I put some in mine but didn't regulate the power properly and it took of like a jet plane streight into the ground the forward thrust was too much for it and me to handle

The ducted fans are controlled by the throttle channel power increases with the main rotor head, will still be careful on the maiden.

that's how mine were controlled but the power was emmence good luck on the maiden

Airwolf ( The Blue Wolf ) Update

Maiden flight this morning without the ducted fans on, came up into a stable hover balance is good all together better than i expected.
wind has picked up a bit so i will try her with the ducted fans later today. will post video soon.

Just finished the flight test eith the ducted fans on, small amount of forward thrust but not enough to cause any problems. She looks and sounds great, will get someone to video it later today when it gets darker this evening. Just waiting for the farmer to cut his field so i can give her a proper test.
