I've got my Kyosho Concept 30 hybrid for learning on having only flown a plank and only toyed with helis before - a few contra rotators including the obligatory Bladez for buzzing around in the house with.

The "Lady" will house my Rappy 30 V2 pod n boom.

Had heard of many people complaining that shrouding a .30 heli in a fuzz makes most of them fly like a house brick so I have opted for a Thunder Tiger Redline .53 engine hence will be fitting the Rappy 50 mount, pinion and main gear. Looking at scale mufflers - Century do one for .46 engines which I'm guessing will be OK on the .53 - if not I will modify a normal .50 muffler to exit via a neat hole in the fuzz via an exhaust extension flexi like used on RC nitro cars.

I have 2 spare engines for the Concept 30 - toying with the SC .36 or the OS MAX .32 and I will rebuild the original engine in the Concept as it's a bloody good runner.

Once the warmer weather comes I will also be looking at another project as the lady becomes airborne. Really digging the whole scale thing - can't see myself risking my pride and joy inverted and being thrown around the air - more of a sedate pilot here - save the risky stuff for RealFlight where I can always hit the RESET button LOL.

the shuttles fine lol, waiting for li-po batt for it to arrive and then can start to spend more time practicing hoovering - but i might take it over to the BMAC field first to ask someone to check all is good (better safe than sorry)
As for the fuselage, probably be a couple of months before i get round to actually get round to doing it

Just an update - was off sick this week just gone and unable to work due to being signed off so decided it was time to start constructing the pod n boom - Raptor 30 V2 with TT RL53-H engine, 50 mount, anodised red fan (Thanks to Robs RC Heli Spares), uprated clutch bell (anodised red) - again thanks Rob!, Carbon fibre rudder servo boom mount (from Rob), Raptor 50 pinion and main gear (you guessed it - Rob again!) and some Fibreglass blades (yep - the ones Rob sells :-) )
