Sorry, I don't know. I've never played with Graupner or Vario

The Fus will tell you. If the front comes off to allow access then it will probably OK. If it's just the top like the Century Fus then I'm guessing it might be a tad tight!

Adrian, my graupner one is a challenge to work on too. It's likely to be a bit bigger than the Century one in most respects but the uni mechanics are huge and as they're an older design they've an unusual layout.

I've spent 4 weeks tracking down a bad gear mesh so I'm dreading routine maintenance once it's in the fuse...

Good luck on the build Mark, I'm really looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.

              Bell222 Update

Painted by Paul (P51 here) and retracts fitted and mechanics... basically Paul has done all the hard work for me due to my lack of time and he has done a stunning job so thank you Paul

Mechanics swapped to my Raptor Titan, got black NHP main blades for it needs just the last few bits for me to complete like windows

Looking really nice mate, and a striking colour scheme! Bet you cant wait to get it in the air.

Are you considering a FBL head for it? I reckon that would be the icing on the cake!!

Looks really great! About six years ago i had a Vario 222 (.60 sized) it was a great model but flew like a jet!!!!!......... Have you had any luck with 'scale' looking retracts?....I managed to source some years ago for my Vario. Really made the difference on the looks when coming in to land. Far more so than an FBL head (IMO).
I'm only asking because i have a set of RJX Xtreme 50 mechs that i'm planning to fire in to an Airwolf Fuse (yes, sorry, i grew up with Airwolf and still feel the need to re-visit my childhood) Would just like to find something better than th etwisted wire retracts etc.
Please don't take offence - your bird looks great.

I have a set of Ole scale heli retracts but way to big for a 50 machine/body there just to big...

probably okay for a 60/90 monster though
